Former Bury Town man Ian Miller could make his first Town start when the Blues take on Cardiff City in the final game of the season at Portman Road on Sunday (KO 1pm). Alex Bruce suffered ankle and knee injuries in last week's game at Leeds and is considered a doubt.
Magilton hinted that Miller, who signed for a nominal fee from the West Suffolk side early in the season, could join Fabian Wilnis at the heart of the defence: "I would like to see Ian in action after dragging him back from his loan spell at Darlington.”
Since his return from the North-East, Miller has made one senior Town appearance, coming on as a sub late on in the 3-0 home victory over Plymouth.
The Town manager has also noted that Chris Casement has done well since coming back from a loan spell at Millwall in which he failed to play a game, and the young Northern Irishman is also in with a chance of involvement on Sunday. The Blues are without Jason De Vos and Richard Naylor due to foot injuries.
Magilton has confirmed that Shane Supple will continue in goal with Lewis Price again remaining on the bench. The Wales international could have played his last game for the Blues with one of Town's current keepers leaving over the summer. We expect Richard Wright's signing on a free transfer from Everton to be confirmed soon. Right-back Sito could also be in the Blues 16 for the final time with the Spaniard expected to leave Portman Road over the summer.
David Wright and Dan Harding will continue in the full-back positions, while in midfield Jaime Peters is expected to be named on the right with Gary Roberts on the left.
In the centre, Owen Garvan is likely to be partnered by Welshman Gavin Williams, although the 26-year-old has an ongoing groin problem which may see him drop to the bench and give George O'Callaghan his fifth start for Town.
Striker Alan Lee, who joined Town from Cardiff for £100,000 in January 2006, has again reiterated his desire to remain with the Blues for 2007/08 and looks likely to start alongside Francis Jeffers, who is over a slight knee problem picked up at Leeds.
Jon Walters and Danny Haynes are both likely to appear from the bench at some stage, the England U19 international OK despite cracking a jaw in the recent reserve game with Northampton Town.
Magilton says he wants fans to leave Portman Road for the last time before the close season with a spring in their step: "I want to send our supporters away happy so that they can spend an optimistic summer and look forward to better things next season.
"Our supporters have been very loyal and have stood by us in a topsy-turvy campaign. They have been very, very understanding and the players appreciate that.
"Sunday's game gives us a chance to say thank you with a memorable performance and it is important that we do.”
Town will finish somewhere between 13th and 16th in the Championship and already have 59 points, three more than last season when they ended up in 15th. Magilton admits that he felt his side would probably have done better back in August, however, the Blues' form in recent weeks has been more in line with the teams in play-off contention than those in relegation trouble.

Dutch defender Glenn Loovens out with foot injury, while Jason Byrne (ankle) and Riccy Scimeca (groin) are both also unavailable, as is suspended striker Michael Chopra.
Ex-Blues loan player, Simon Walton, spent the second half of 2006/07 with the Welsh club but has now left after receiving his third red card of the season. The resultant suspension ruled him out for the last few games.
The sides, neither of whom have anything but pride left to play for, drew their Ninian Park fixture 2-2 back in December with the Town goals coming from then-loanee Jon Macken and a Gary Roberts penalty.
Midfielder Sylvain Legwinski, out for the season with a broken metatarsal, will receive his Supporters' Player of the Year award on the pitch prior to kick-off.
Town are again running a ‘kid for a quid' scheme, while balls and shirts will be thrown into the crowd at the end of the match. Cardiff have laid on free coach travel for their supporters.
Suffolk Constabulary have warned fans that they can expect delays around the ground before and after the match with Portman Road closed to Town supporters after the game.

Sunday's referee is Keith Stroud from Hampshire, who recently took control of a Premiership match, Manchester City's 2-0 win at Middlesbrough. Stroud has shown 95 yellow and three red cards in 36 games so far this season.
Stroud's last Town game was the 1-0 home victory over Leeds in December in which he showed yellow cards to six players — including Town's Dan Harding, Alan Lee and Richard Naylor - as well as a red to Leeds' Kevin Nicholls.
